This year's seminar, "Economic Cooperation with Ukraine," organized by the Alumni Association of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in Poland, was held in the town of Łagów from May 29 to 31, 2026. The event took place at the Leśnik Recreation Centre.

The seminar was attended by Ewa Mańkiewicz-Cudny, President of the Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations of Poland (FSNT-NOT), and Bronisław Gynowski, President of the Society for the History of Technology and Engineering Culture. During the event, they presented a diploma and a silver Engineer statuette to Professor Ryszard Strzelecki, as well as silver honorary FSNT-NOT badges to Bogusław Satława and Krzysztof Świder. Ewa Mańkiewicz-Cudny also delivered a lecture on the history of engineering associations in Poland and abroad. In addition, participants attended presentations by Professor Józef Korbicz on the Ukrainian economy in 2025 and by Janusz Fuksa on the consequences of the war in Ukraine. The presentations were illustrated with photographs displayed on a screen.

Following the seminar, the 16th General Assembly of the Alumni Association of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in Poland took place. Reports were presented by the Chair of the Association, the Audit Committee, and the Treasurer. After the discussions, a new Council of the Alumni Association of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in Poland was elected. At its first meeting, the newly elected Council reappointed Janusz Fuksa as Chair of the Association.

The seminar program also included a cultural component. On May 29, alumni from different regions of Poland, as well as Sweden, France, and Canada, explored the town of Łagów and gathered for a friendly dinner, where they reminisced about their student years in Kyiv. The following day, after the conference sessions, they traveled to Pniewo and descended into the military bunkers of the Międzyrzecz Fortified Region. On Sunday, they visited Świebodzin, where they saw the world's tallest statue of Christ the King up close, before continuing to the Old Town and the Palm House in Zielona Góra.

The events were organized by Professor Józef Korbicz and Anna Grabowska.
