Our university hosted a demonstration of the latest remote control systems from Japanese companies Soliton and KOBELCO, which allow construction equipment to be controlled remotely — from home, the office, or anywhere in the world.

Such technologies will play an important role in the restoration of Ukrainian infrastructure — they make it possible to work in high-risk areas without risk to operators and to attract new human resources to the reconstruction of the country: women on maternity leave, veterans, people with disabilities, while promoting their social integration.

📌 Kyiv Polytechnic University already has projects implemented with Japanese partners under the UNIDO program. This event opens up opportunities for a new format of our scientific and educational cooperation on the implementation of new technologies in engineering (in particular, geoengineering) and IT specialties.

For more information on innovative technologies, please watch the video.

The event was organized within the framework of the Japan-Ukraine Platform for Infrastructure Technologies for Recovery and Reconstruction (JUPITeR), created by the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan.
