Starting next semester, Igor Sikorsky KPI will introduce a training course on cogeneration, integrated into the educational programs for training power engineers. The training course was developed in partnership with the engineering company RSE and will be implemented at the Energy Resilience Lab, a laboratory for autonomous and sustainable energy supply.

The anniversary hackathon traditionally brought together young, ambitious, and creative inventors, who this year designed solutions in the field of smart military electronics to strengthen the country's resilience.

📌 Every year, the International Competition of Student Research Papers on Artificial Intelligence brings together young researchers who create innovative solutions and develop new ideas, working with the most advanced areas of AI — from Computer Vision to Natural Language Processing.

As Kyiv Polytechnic previously reported, at the end of the XIV Festival of Innovative Projects “Sikorsky Challenge 2025,” in accordance with its program and within the framework of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization's project “Global Innovation and Networking Program in Green Chemistry” (GreenChem), the Global Greenchem Hackathon 2025 was held from October 31 to November 2.

🦾🦿 The educational and research laboratory for prosthetics, medical rehabilitation, and occupational therapy allows for full-scale modeling of upper and lower limbs, followed by the manufacture of prosthetic socket sleeves (socket receivers). The skills acquired by students are in high demand on the labor market, as these technologies and processes are currently the most widespread in prosthetic centers in Ukraine.

The Faculty of Physics and Mathematics (FMF) of our university now has a modern laboratory with 17 high-tech workstations, which will serve as a basis for integrating innovative artificial intelligence methods into the educational space, as well as into fundamental and applied scientific research in physics and mathematics on the way to creating new technologies.

On November 21, 2025, the XVIII Open Student Olympiad on the Theory of Electronic Circuits took place remotely, which is held annually by the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Faculty of Electronics and is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Vitaly P. Sigorsky, an outstanding scientist and teacher who worked at our university from 1964 to 2007.

🏆 The dcua team from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physics and Technology (Institute of FTI) of Igor Sikorsky KPI won the DEADFACE CTF 2025 open competition, which was held online by the non-profit organization Cyber Hackticks (San Antonio, TX, USA) on October 25-26, 2025.

On November 3–4, as part of the First International Kyiv Forum on Critical Infrastructure Protection in Ukraine, a hackathon was held, in which our team took an honorable second place.
