🇺🇦🇬🇧 Researchers from the Department of Geoengineering of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” and Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University visited Cranfield University in the United Kingdom as part of the international SOIL4LIFE-UA project (Ukrainian-Led Twinning for Bioremediation of Post-Conflict Soils). The project aims to strengthen scientific cooperation in studying and restoring soils contaminated by military activities and human-induced environmental impacts.

The team from the Institute of Special Communications and Information Protection (ISZZI) of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, an educational institution of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, ranked among the top five teams at the international Global Student CTF cybersecurity competition. 💪

♻️ PolyFuel, a project developed at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, took first place among 11 teams participating in the GreenChem Accelerator 2026. The project is a modular automated technology that converts mixed plastic waste into components for aviation and automotive gasoline, produces technical carbon, and can generate additional electricity.

Artem Yushchuk, a graduate of the Educational and Scientific Mechanical Engineering Institute, co-founded a successful Ukrainian manufacturing company with like-minded partners. He is an alumnus of the Formula Student KPI student club, where, under the guidance of Professor Vitalii Pasichnyk, then Head of the Department of Integrated Manufacturing Engineering, students designed and built formula racing cars and competed several times in Formula Student engineering competitions alongside teams from renowned European universities.
