For the fourth time, the Humanitarian Headquarters of the Igor Sikorsky KPI Student Trade Union is bringing together the KPI community on International Volunteer Day to help our defenders with their most urgent needs.
60 volunteers. 8.5 hours without light. They cut, twisted, bent, soldered, poured, and worked even in the dark for 24 hours — thinking about those who are holding the front line.
The result in 24 hours:
📌 320 Flower Pot antennas — a national record for the largest number of antennas manufactured in 24 hours, recorded by representatives of the National Register of Records of Ukraine
📌 398 extended antennas for radios
📌 1,100 trench candles
Flower Pot antennas are extremely necessary on the front lines, as they provide stable radio communication both on the battlefield and in dugouts, and are inexpensive, effective, and easy to manufacture.
All manufactured items will be sent to various areas of the front line according to the requests of our defenders.
We congratulate everyone involved in setting the national record and thank everyone who participated in the production of antennas and trench candles!
We thank the Ukrainian Amateur Radio Operators (UARO) for their support in providing materials and jointly implementing the event.
