The delegation of NZIA Connect Inc. - a powerful South Korean startup in the field of telecommunications technologies, which has advanced developments in digital currency and border protection technologies - visited our university.

During the meeting:

📌 A trilateral memorandum of cooperation was signed between Kyiv Polytechnic, NZIA and the Sikorsky Challenge Innovation Ecosystem;
📌 specialized telecommunication equipment was received by the Faculty of Radio Engineering (an autonomous communication system that can operate in conditions of limited power and consists of devices for wireless communication and the Internet TVWS (White Space) and antennas).

“We plan to receive funding from the South Korean government for our joint project, transfer our technologies to your university to develop them together and produce these products here in Ukraine, which will subsequently help in the reconstruction and development of your nation,” said Kai Kim, CEO and founder of NZIA Connect Inc.

Our scientists have already conducted experimental studies of the equipment and even made suggestions for its improvement, which will make it a competitive product in the international market.

“During the testing, we saw the potential to improve this device both for our conditions and for entering global markets. Our experts can take part in its improvement,” said Sergiy Stirenko, Vice-Rector for Research, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The South Korean company will also support our education: on its initiative, a scholarship from NZIA will be established at our university.
