Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted a meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, led by Minister Andrii Butenko, and university rectors and representatives of their associations, including the Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine.
📜 More than 100 universities took part in the discussion of key issues in the development of higher education. These included modernising the education system, university funding, the admissions campaign, student support, particularly for veterans, and current legislative changes, such as expanding the autonomy of higher education institutions.
An important outcome of the meeting was an agreement to establish an ongoing dialogue between the Ministry of Education and Science and the heads of higher education institutions.
