🕯 The Kyiv Polytechnic community is once again in mourning. On February 15, 2026, KPI graduate Denis “Fox” Gordeev, a lieutenant and commander of a platoon of unmanned aerial vehicles of the 156th Mechanized Brigade, was killed while performing a combat mission in Donetsk Oblast. He was 36 years old.
📜 From 2006 to 2012, Denis studied at the Department of Industrial Biotechnology and Biopharmacy of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biotechnics (FBT), where he earned a master's degree in Industrial Biotechnology.
🫡 From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Denis joined the volunteer community “Pecherski Kotyky.” In 2024, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Denis will be remembered as a reliable friend, a caring husband, son, and brother.
