Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, in cooperation with the KOLO Charity Foundation and the Swedish non-profit organization Beredskapslyftet, are launching the international grant project "Occupational Therapy Without Borders: Swedish-Ukrainian Professional Exchange for the Sustainable Development of Rehabilitation in Ukraine."

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented diplomas and honorary badges of the Boris Paton National Prize of Ukraine to scientists of the Department of High-Temperature Materials and Powder Metallurgy of the E.O. Paton Institute for Materials Science and Welding.

Over 650 fundamental and applied research projects carried out by higher education institutions and scientific institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine were submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science competition. After the completion of expert reviews and evaluations in the sections, a list of over 130 winning projects was approved, which passed the competitive selection and will begin receiving funding this year from the State Budget of Ukraine. Among them are eight projects that will be implemented at Igor Sikorsky KPI over the next three years.

On April 4, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was visited by a delegation of the Christian Social Union parliamentary group of the Bavarian Landtag (parliament) led by its chairman Klaus Holechek.

The project of the Institute of IMZ and FEL to create devices and services for sports training and remote healthcare received a grant under the EU Horizon Europe program. 

During the four-day intensive, students will learn how to make grant applications and international projects. In addition to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute professionals, experts from Poland, Sweden, and Finland will help them with this.

The School of creativity took place at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. This time, three days of the intensive course were devoted to grant activities.

The participants learned to present a project idea, look for international partners and practiced grant writing.

The state through the National Research Fund of Ukraine allocates funds (over 1 billion 373 million UAH for 2020-2022) for research.
