Kyiv Polytechnic Institute received additional grant support from Amazon Web Services

Amazon Web Services (AWS) provided KPI with its second grant since the start of the full-scale war. In 2022, the university received its first emergency grant, which allowed it to quickly migrate its infrastructure to a cloud environment. At that time, digital services were operating in a partner environment provided by EPAM. Later, the university completely switched to its own AWS account.

Engineer Mironov's "starting window"

On that day, the White Hall of the capital's House of Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was crowded. The lecture "Stratospheric balloons. Typology and possibilities" brought together those interested in the design and use of lighter-than-air vehicles.

To the cloud, so that nothing can cloud the future

After the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the information systems and elements of its critical digital infrastructure that are most important for the viability of the KPI were moved to the cloud.

Electronic Campus: conditions and prospects

Electronic Campus as a component of the single information environment of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was launched in 2012. Its task is to sustain the educational process.
