The annual “Talents of KPI” competition is a notable event in the artistic life of Igor Sikorsky KPI. The works presented here are usually distinguished by their perfection and excellence. Sometimes, when looking at them, you would never think that they were created not by professional artists, masters of decorative and applied arts, or photographers, but by talented amateurs—students, scientists, and university employees. There are many authors whose names appear in the list of competition winners year after year. This testifies to their growing skill, desire to improve, and delight connoisseurs and fans with new creations.

How “RanioPak” Was Born: An Innovation with the Aroma of Hops

The international forum Innovations in Medical Engineering and its startup competition became an important event at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The jury reviewed 58 ambitious projects addressing the needs of the military in rehabilitation and responding to pressing medical challenges. The best projects received support from partners and an opportunity to advance to the finals of the 14th International Festival Sikorsky Challenge 2025.

How I Found My Way into Engineering

Hi! My name is Mykyta, and in this article I want to share my story: how I chose engineering, entered Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute, and embarked on a journey that, although still relatively short, has already been quite an interesting one.

Workshop at the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Automation

In early June, the Department of Automation of Electromechanical Systems and Electric Drive of the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Automation at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the Second International Workshop on Computational Methods in Systems Engineering in person. The workshop focused on the use of various computational methods, models, and software tools for studying dynamic systems. It was organized to facilitate the exchange of ideas and research findings aimed at developing optimal solutions to complex engineering challenges in electrical engineering and related fields.

Science without borders: participation of FMF students in academic mobility programs

The development strategy of Igor Sikorsky KPI provides for increasing the level of academic mobility of students and teachers through international exchange programs, summer schools, internships, etc. This is one of the university's priority areas of activity aimed at deepening the internationalization and integration of participants in the educational process into the international educational and scientific space, improving the quality of education and the effectiveness of scientific research, as well as ensuring competitiveness in the educational services market. 

Working groups on gender equality: areas of activity defined

On June 20, an inaugural meeting of the heads of working groups on gender equality of faculties and educational and scientific institutes of Igor Sikorsky KPI was held. It was chaired by Tetyana Zhelyaskova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University.
