By Presidential Decree No. 1019/2026 of October 2, 2026, professors of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute were awarded state honors in recognition of their significant contributions to the development of national education, the training of qualified professionals, many years of dedicated teaching, and outstanding professionalism.
✍️ Mykhailo Ilchenko, Chair of the Academic Council of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Professor in the Department of Telecommunications at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Telecommunication Systems, was awarded the Order of Merit, First Class.
✍️ Ihor Mikulionok, Professor in the Department of Chemical, Polymer, and Silicate Engineering at the Faculty of Automation, Industrial Engineering and Ecology, was awarded the Order of Merit, Third Class.
✍️ Yurii Poplavko, Professor in the Department of Microelectronics at the Faculty of Electronics, was awarded the honorary title of Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine.
