KPI Students Win Säkerhets-SM CTF 2026!
🏆 The dcua team from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physics and Technology (ESIPT) at Kyiv Polytechnic University performed brilliantly in the finals of the cyber competition in Stockholm, establishing itself as the strongest not only in Ukraine but also in the world. Our students outperformed their peers from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, as well as other Ukrainian teams.
Human capital plays a key role in cybersecurity
At the Kyiv International Forum on Cybersilience 2026, Serhii Konyushok, Deputy Head of the Institute (for Scientific Work) at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’s Institute of Cyber Security and Information Systems (ISZZI) outlined the key challenges in training personnel for the cybersecurity sector and presented practical approaches used by the Institute.
KPI students among the winners of the SHE DEFENDS: CYBER & OSINT CTF competition
Several teams from Kyiv Polytechnic University were among the leaders in the All-Ukrainian women's CTF competition SHE DEFENDS: CYBER & OSINT. The tournament aims to develop women's practical skills in cybersecurity and OSINT and to strengthen the cyber resilience of the national security and defense sector.
KPI Legends in the GUR League of Legends
From November 20 to December 1, 2025, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in collaboration with HackenProof, held the “First National CTF” online competition. The dcua team from the Educational and Research Institute of Physics and Technology (IPT) at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) also took part and achieved the best result—taking first place in the highest level of the competition—the special League of Legends standings!
