The KPI community has, at its disposal, four recreational bases with maximum comforts - “Mayak”, “Globus”, “Sosnovyi” and “Politehnik”, all ready to receive their first guests as soon as the warm season comes. The “Politehnik” also operates even in winter.
The trade union committee of Igor Sikorsky KPI traditionally paid considerable attention to health improvement during the summer period. Therefore, trade union members and their children were given the opportunity to spend their summer holidays in picturesque corners of Western Ukraine and Poland free of charge or on preferential terms.
KPI Chill Day, a warm and bright day dedicated to the end of spring, took place recently. Its main goal was to create a wonderful atmosphere for relaxation, communication, and recharging.
Ten years have passed since the launch of the international project of organizing children's recreation for KPI employees in Poland - “Children's Poland”, as it is called by the employees of our university. In 2014, our children first became participants in a recreational and educational program organized by the Warsaw University of Technology.
Every summer students and staff of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute can enjoy the holidays at leisure and wellness bases of the university.
Kyiv residents, who left the capital with their children due to the armed aggression of the russian federation, are returning to the capital. It is not surprising that there is a need to restore the work of kindergartens in the city.
This year the rest of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute staff and members of their families traditionally took place at the university health facilities - OK "Mayak", SVST "Sosnovy" and SOT "Polytechnic".
As part of the European Green Week, the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Student Social Service organized a playback theatre performance at the CCS.
We have started booking places for the autumn season at our recreation centers. Some even have an open date - when the mushrooms climb.
Quarantine does not prevent us from working on improving public amenities - now there is active work to create a park where students can study and spend free time.
