Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies Department

The Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies Department is part of the Educational Process Organization Department and reports to the Head of the Educational and Organizational Management Department and the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. The department operates in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, laws and other regulatory acts of Ukraine, and the regulatory framework of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

MAIN TASKS OF THE DEPARTMENT

• Organization of training for graduate students (doctoral students) who have entered graduate school (doctoral school)
• Supporting the corporate culture of Igor Sikorsky KPI in matters of providing quality modern education, academic integrity, competitiveness, creativity, initiative, human rights and freedoms, basic values, etc.
• Forming a planned order for training in postgraduate and doctoral programs at the expense of state funding.
• Organization and conduct of events for admission to postgraduate and doctoral programs in all forms.
• Development of documents on the organization of the educational process for applicants for a Doctor of Philosophy degree.
• Analysis of feedback from applicants for the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education.
• In cooperation with educational and scientific institutes/faculties, organization, control, and analysis of reporting by students on the implementation of individual postgraduate plans.
• Cooperation with student self-government bodies, trade unions, scientific, and other student organizations.
• And others in accordance with the provisions of the department.
