Forbes University forum is an event where representatives of business, universities, government, and EdTech companies come together to promote the development of education in Ukraine.
📌 Oksana Yurchyshyn (head of the department of scientific and innovative support of the educational process at Igor Sikorsky KPI) took part in the panel discussion “Research University and Its Future in Ukraine.” The discussion focused on the vision of science in universities and how it is perceived by businesses and scientific institutions, positive changes for the development of science parks and cooperation with business, which are laid down in the new Science City project from the Ministry of Education and Science, etc.

• KPI has various mechanisms for cooperation with business and fundraising within the university's innovation ecosystem: providing scientific services to companies with the involvement of specialists and research infrastructure, performing research work commissioned by business and the state, performing scientific work through grants, transfer of intellectual property created at the university under license agreements, etc.;
• When cooperating with business, KPI has competitive advantages due to its multidisciplinary professional expertise;
• The Sikorsky Challenge Additive Technologies Science Park is a positive example of universities responding to today's needs, combining business support for the university's innovative development with the social aspect (needs caused by a full-scale invasion).
