The team from the Institute of Special Communications and Information Protection (ISZZI) of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, an educational institution of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, ranked among the top five teams at the international Global Student CTF cybersecurity competition. 💪

Cadets studying Computer Science (specialty F3) demonstrated an excellent level of preparation. Congratulations on this impressive achievement!

ℹ️ The tournament brought together 15 teams from 11 universities across five countries: Ukraine, the United States, Ireland, Sweden, and Lithuania. The event was organized by SET University in partnership with IronCyber, a cybersecurity startup.

👩‍💻 During this year’s Global Student CTF, participants tackled challenging practical scenarios in a controlled virtual environment. Teams had to breach the network defenses and access control systems of a drone fleet operator, infiltrate an isolated industrial network, and ultimately seize control of an autonomous reconnaissance drone.

Participation in competitions like this allows future specialists to hone their skills in countering modern threats under conditions that reflect real-world cybersecurity challenges.
