Meetings with diplomatic representatives from successful countries are always of interest to KPI students and faculty. This is especially true for countries that are recognized leaders in technological development. So, when Park Ki-chang, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine, delivered his lecture at the Smart Shelter of the Scientific and Technical Library on March 27, Kyiv Polytechnic Institute students listened with rapt attention. And no wonder: his presentation on the topic "Korea-Ukraine Partnership: Technology, Innovation and a Future We Build Together" was dedicated to the partnership between one of the world’s most advanced high-tech nations and Ukraine in fields that are today arguably decisive in ensuring the economic development of civilized countries.

🇫🇷 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Ukraine Gael Veyer visited our university for the first time and delivered an important lecture on diplomacy in the current context of military aggression against Ukraine.

During November-December 2024, the staff of the H.I. Denysenko Scientific and Technical Library prepared a basic comprehensive course of open lectures “Must-have for research” for postgraduate students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and for all researchers who are interested in new knowledge.

One of the traditions, the origins of which are associated with the activities of an outstanding scientist, innovator, welder, materials scientist academician E.O. Paton, whose name is the Educational and Research Institute of Materials Science and Welding of KPI, is the inseparable unity of KPI scientists with scientists of the Institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine of physical and material science profile. In this cooperation, KPI is represented by the E.O. Paton Institute of IMZ - a large educational, scientific and innovative complex in the structure of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, which includes 5 departments.

On October 28, the Scientific and Technical Library of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted an open lecture on “Frauds around scientific journals, or How to protect your research”, delivered by PhD in Social Communications Serhii Nazarovets.

The university will have a comfortable integration environment for various groups and communities, where they can work on the psychological recovery of Ukrainians affected by the war, discuss sensitive topics related to mental health, learn to cope with trauma, and hold educational events.
