Rector of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Anatoliy Melnychenko and Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vadym Sukharevskyi signed a memorandum of cooperation to establish cooperation in scientific and innovative areas and to facilitate the use of promising scientific and technical developments and results of scientific and technical activities.
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute together with the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will develop and implement innovative projects in the field of air, sea surface and underwater, as well as ground unmanned and robotic systems.
“Ukraine is leading the world in terms of the number of the latest technological developments of unmanned systems of various types, but now we need to focus on a qualitatively new level of implementation of these projects,” said Yuriy Yekhanurov, Director of the Research Institute of Advanced Defense Technologies at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
