March 28 the Director of the Polish Academy of Sciences mission in Ukraine Henryk Sobchuk visited NTUU "KPI" . He met with the leadership of the university and took part in the discussion of the prospects for the development of cooperation between Polish and Ukrainian scientists.

3 August 2013, a solemn opening of the monument to the outstanding Polish physical chemist and statesman and alumni of KPI Wojciech Sventoslavsky (21.6 (3.7 ) .1881- 29.4.1968) was held near the building № 4 NTUU "KPI" .

The supervisor of IEE thermomolecular energetic laboratory, professor V.A. Eroshenko has recently been to Katowice (Poland) together with his postgraduate student Oleksiy Evtushenko. He delivered lectures there with their total amount of 12 hours.
