Publishing and Printing Institute has been always attracting talented, ambitious and mobile youth. They receive up-to-date knowledge, using the best experience. Therefore, they usually come across few problems while searching for a job. The best students’ works are highly appraised at various competitions and get awards of all sorts. In particular, this term two outstanding personalities have been awarded the Rector’s scholarship – Olexandra Kyrychok and Svitlana Lyholay.
Olexandra Kirichok comes from Chernigiv region. She has always been fond of reading. For her a book is a mysterious creature, that slowly lets you in, whispering with the pages, and tells you about marvelous events and people; where a whole unknown world is hidden behind the cardboard cover. After the ninth grade, she entered the humanitarian college, specialization "Publishing and Editing", received a diploma with honors. Studying at college allowed to make a final decision on the future specialty. Thus, since 2012 O. Kirichok has been the PPI student of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute. Her studying at the Department of reprography allowed Olexandra to show herself as capable and responsible student. From the the first years, she has being actively participated in student national and international conferences and has shown high results.
In addition to her studying, Olexandra goes in for sport. She has the advanced degree in volleyball, the girl is a repeated champion of Chernihiv region. Since 2014 Olexandra has been a member of the ensemble of modern choreography "HD Team" of the Center of Culture and Arts KPI. Among the other hobbies we should mark the needlework (embroidery, beading, knitting), various board games, ang writing poems. Olexandra enjoy communicating with people, learning new things, generating ideas and spending free time profitably.
Olexandra claims: "Education in the KPI gives everyone a chance to reveal themselves, to understand which way to go next. Thanks to the PPI, I can confidently articulate my desire – to become a qualified specialist in printing industry. "Your life is formed by your thoughts " – this famous philosopher and social activist Marcus Aurelius’ quotation aptly describes my dreams."
Svitlana Lyholay is a graduate student of the reprography Department of the PPI. Owing to hard studying and diligence, typical for her from school years, when she often participated in competitions, in 2010, Svitlana became a student of the "KPI" and joined the large friendly family of the Printing and Publishing Institute. Over the years of her studying, Svitlana has shown industriousness and responsability. She is an A-student, the girl skillfully combines studying with research work, participates in international and national conferences, including "The Young Typography ", "The Urgent Tasks of Today Technologies" "Resources- and Energy-saving Technologies of Manufacturing and Packaging of the Food Products", etc. The girl is the author of 8 scientific publications, a participant of competition " Publishing-Printing Production Designing-2015." Currently Svitlana is engaged in the research of the technological process of varnishing "in line" with water-based varnishes.
Svetlana is a kind and sincere person, she is always ready to help. In her free time the girl likes to read and learn the programs dealing with 3D-graphics. A lot of discoveries and achievements are waiting for our students. So we wish them good luck in self-realization. And the Department staff will do their best to reveal the potential of the students.
