Mariia Zueva: “KPI helps build professional competence and character”
The State Academic Scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred honor the heroic deeds of the youngest members of the Heavenly Hundred. Each scholarship is named after one of the heroes and is awarded to students majoring in the same field as that person. "The Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred Scholarship is both a way to support talented youth and to honor our recent history. We thank the universities for their transparent selection process and guarantee adequate funding for the program. I believe that these students will carry the values of freedom and dignity into their professions and communities,” said Oksen Lisovyi, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.
KPI students among the winners of the SHE DEFENDS: CYBER & OSINT CTF competition
Several teams from Kyiv Polytechnic University were among the leaders in the All-Ukrainian women's CTF competition SHE DEFENDS: CYBER & OSINT. The tournament aims to develop women's practical skills in cybersecurity and OSINT and to strengthen the cyber resilience of the national security and defense sector.
KPI Legends in the GUR League of Legends
From November 20 to December 1, 2025, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in collaboration with HackenProof, held the “First National CTF” online competition. The dcua team from the Educational and Research Institute of Physics and Technology (IPT) at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) also took part and achieved the best result—taking first place in the highest level of the competition—the special League of Legends standings!

The FBT team won the Global Greenchem Hackathon 2025
As Kyiv Polytechnic previously reported, at the end of the XIV Festival of Innovative Projects “Sikorsky Challenge 2025,” in accordance with its program and within the framework of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization's project “Global Innovation and Networking Program in Green Chemistry” (GreenChem), the Global Greenchem Hackathon 2025 was held from October 31 to November 2.
