On March 14, 2018, the XXXIII Open Olympiad in Mathematics was held at the Igor Sikorsky KPI, which was held in scopes of the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Mathematics for students of higher educational institutions.

The VIII International Professional Competition for Teachers of the University “Pedagogical Discovery: University – 2018” announced the prize winners. Among them were the teachers of Igor Sikorsky KPI.

On March 14, 2018, the 1st stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the discipline “Chemistry” was held among the students of the Igor Sikorsky KPI. The Olympiad was attended by 63 students who represented FCT, FCI, FBT, FBMI, IPSA and IEE.

On March, 17, 2018 the 2nd (final) round of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Mathematics took place in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

The Ukrainian Rock Climbing Championship, 12th on the account, took place on February 23-25 ​​in Kryvyi Rig (Bouldering type). These annual competitions take place once again at the Metallurg Stadium, where the ski lift is located in the supported building.
