‘Business and cultural relations between Ukraine and Japan continue and are successful,’ was the common opinion of Andriy Vitrenko, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Anatoliy Melnychenko, Rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, and Matsuda Kuninori, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine, which was a red thread running through their speeches at the opening of the three-day charity festival “Japanese Autumn”, which took place at KPI from 13 to 15 September. 

On 27 August, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of India Oleksandr Polishchuk visited Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Rector of the University Anatoliy Melnychenko, Vice-Rector for International Relations Andriy Shysholin, and Director of the Centre for International Education Serhiy Maulik met with him.

On July 17, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was visited by a delegation of the Japan External Trade Organization JETRO headed by its leaders - Executive Vice President of JETRO Kazuya Nakajo and Director of JETRO Ukraine Tetsuo Shibata.

The final bootcamp within the international project RESCUU aims to unite students for the revival of Ukraine. The organizers of the event include Uppsala University, Poznan University of Technology, and the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

А representative of the USA company DAI Global LCC (DAI), Michael Pillsbury, Senior Advisor for Workforce Development, visited Kyiv Polytechnic.

Kyiv Polytechnic is expanding its cooperation with the universities of the Republic of Indonesia. The parties plan to implement joint projects in the field of public administration, social work, international relations, and gender studies.

On July 29, Masahito Moriyama, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, visited Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. He was accompanied by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Kuninori Matsuda and Deputy Director General of the Directorate for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Stella Shapoval.

A lot of new knowledge, interesting workshops, fascinating lectures, fantastic opportunities of technology. Joyful smiles and sincere communication with like-minded people. 120 participants from four Ukrainian universities joined the summit in Warsaw.

Gaps in the anti-crisis management of territorial communities and the lack of awareness of the population about actions in crisis and emergency situations are the conclusions of teams of scientists from the FMM and the Faculty of Management Engineering of the Poznan University of Technology.

The traditional seminar on Polish-Ukrainian cooperation, which has been organised for many years by the Section of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in Poland, took place in Kobylka near Warsaw on 31 May - 2 June 2024.
