Andrey Yelyseiovych Babenko, Doctor of Engineering, professor, acting Head of the Department of dynamics and durability of machines and resistance materials of MMI, turned 80 years on 2 June.

Institute for Metal named after  H.V. Kurdyumova NAS of Ukraine celebrated the 70 th anniversary of the founding! On this occasion, the rector "KPI" NAS of Ukraine M. Zgurovsky sent greetings to the Director and staff of the Institute.

On April 27, 2016 the 25th anniversary of the Kyiv Museum of Astronautics History (today – Department of history of aviation and cosmonautics of State Polytechnic Museum of I.I. Sikorsky in NTUU “KPI”) took place.

In Kyiv Polytechnic Institute there is a gallery of outstanding scientists and teachers, whose life and social activity are connected with the institution, they created a KPI as a unique scientific and educational institution.

In this way, many fans and colleagues talk about the recent performance of the National Ensemble of Folk Dance of KPI “Polytechnic” on a city review-competition of folk art, where our dancers took first place.

In the autumn of 2015 celebrated 100 years since the birth of Nadezhdy Konstantinovny Vitkup, former assistant professor of descriptive geometry, engineering and computer graphics, many years trade union leader of KPI.
