International cooperation between Ukraine and Poland over the decades: personal experience

On June 18, the university held an award ceremony for the Golden Honorary Badges of the National Technical Organization – the Federation of Scientific and Technical Societies of Poland. This year, they were awarded to Professor Lyudmila Mykhailivna Shulgina of the Department of Industrial Marketing, FMM; Professor Serhii Vasylovych Voitko, Head of the Department of International Economics, FMM; Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management Professor Oksana Oleksiivna Vovk, and former Director of the G.I. Denisenko Scientific and Technical Library Oksana Mykolaivna Bruy. In a solemn atmosphere, the awards were presented to Kyiv Polytechnic Institute students by Dorota Jaworska, Deputy Head of the KPI Alumni Section in Poland. Below we publish an article by this year's recipient of the NOT Gold Medal, Serhii Voitko, about his experience of cooperation with Polish colleagues.

KPI – "Melexis-Ukraine": a new level of cooperation

Two important documents were signed on May 14 by the heads of Igor Sikorsky KPI and the subsidiary enterprise “Melexis-Ukraine.” The first document, a Memorandum of Cooperation, was signed by University Rector Anatoliy Melnychenko and Company Director Yevhen Vasyur.

Internship at Ajax Systems: what for, who for, and what are the prospects

As part of the Ajax Next initiative and in partnership with Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Ajax Systems is holding its third Mechanical Internship for university students. Classes began on March 4 and will end at the end of the semester. Seventeen students from various university departments were selected to participate. The editorial staff of Kyiv Polytechnic spoke with representatives of the company, the department, and one of the program's graduates to learn more about the purpose of this practical training, what the interns will learn, and what prospects await those who successfully complete the program.

Bulletin for experts

Last December, the first issue of an English-language newsletter dedicated to the life of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was published. It was called Quarterly Newsletter. However, so many events take place at the university every week that even if only the most important ones were included in the newsletter, it would be huge.

Piezoelectric motors. Created in KPI

The exhibition “Piezoelectric motors - created in KPI” was opened in the State Polytechnic Museum named after Borys Paton. The opportunity to organize it appeared last year, when the museum staff, while researching one particular exhibit of the museum collection - a piezoelectric motor - received a unique collection of samples of such motors to replenish the museum collection in addition to information material. 

Results of the conference "Business, Innovation, Management: Problems and Prospects"

Despite the massive rocket attack on Ukraine on the night of April 24, 2025, the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Business, Innovation, Management: Problems and Prospects” was held on the same day at the Faculty of Management and Marketing. It was organized by the Department of Enterprise Management. The conference brought together over 220 participants—scientists, practitioners, and higher education students from various cities in Ukraine, Poland, and Finland.
