At the end of April, the Ukrainian media traditionally dedicate part of their materials to the anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster.

At the end of June last year, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute signed a memorandum of cooperation with the newly established in Mariupol Metinvest Polytechnic which was the first in Ukraine private steel and mining university.

Probably no one would like the shrill sounds of an air alert. But this sad howl has already saved thousands of lives of Ukrainian citizens. At the same time, the siren is just one of the elements in the country's alerting service.

The National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” donated 1 million hryvnias for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The funds were transferred to a special account with the National Bank of Ukraine.

Ancient Chernihiv became one of the symbols of national resistance. Every day they withstands more and more waves of shelling and bombing but do not give up. A huge number of houses has already been destroyed, people die every day.

The educational process in higher education institutions is resumed in Ukraine.

This issue of our newspaper was supposed to be completely different. Its layout was already made and sent to the printing house in Kharkiv. The newspaper talked about the Doors Open Day at the university; about projects carried out at faculties, cooperation with partners, etc. And, of course, about the female part of the university staff, as one way or the other, the beginning of spring for many of us is traditionally associated with honoring women.

The University has already published a list of pre-anniversary events and approved the staff of the Anniversary Advisory Committee on December 3, 2021, at the meeting of the Academic Council. On December 17, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted Resolution №1892, according to which the anniversary of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute became part of memorable dates celebrated at the state level.

Johannes Kepler (1571-1630) was an outstanding German scientist, philosopher, mathematician, mechanic, astronomer, and optician who made a number of important discoveries. But the most famous of these are, of course, the laws of planetary motion, now known as Kepler's laws.

Young scientists of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute are grateful for the recognition and targeted support of their work, additional opportunities for fundamental and applied research, scientific and technical developments in priority areas of science and technology.
