Humanitarian demining: Uniting for success

Humanitarian demining is extremely important for our country. The work on clearing vast areas of mines and all kinds of explosive debris, which is already underway and will reach a huge scale after the war is over, requires, firstly, human resources, secondly, a significant amount of special equipment, and thirdly, constant improvement of demining technologies and their implementation. And all of these “first,” “second,” and “third” have recently been directly related to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. 

Professor of the FMM Olha Vovk received the Presidential Award

The First National Forum of Talented Youth, held in the capital in late January, brought together more than 400 participants - winners of international and national school competitions, young scientists, students, and activists. As part of the event, young scientists were awarded Presidential Prizes for their scientific achievements. Olha Vovk, a professor at the Department of Economic Cybernetics at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, also received the award. She shared her impressions of this solemn event.

🎥 KPISchool engineering week: Let Varvara's dream come true

On March 26, 2025, the Faculty of Chemical Technology of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute held a scientific and educational event “Chemical Technologies in Action” for schoolchildren and everyone interested in the framework of the KPISchool engineering week. The main purpose of the event was to familiarize participants with modern chemical technologies, demonstrate their practical application and popularize chemical science among young people. 

Digital education as a common vector

On March 27-28, 2025, the international scientific and practical conference "Innovative Digital Methods in Education and Research" was held in Berehove. The event was organized by the Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute named after Ferenc Rákóczi II and brought together more than 140 participants from Ukraine, Hungary, and Romania. 

Viktor Mykolaiovych Marchevskyi is 90!

On April 1, the staff of the Department of Machines and Apparatus of Chemical and Oil Refining Production congratulated their outstanding colleague, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor Viktor Marchevsky. This year's date is special because he turned 90 years old!
