On January 22nd, people who have proved devotion to Ukraine and its independence with their own lives met students and professors of Institute of Publishing and Printing of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute; these were Ilmi Umerov, the Ukrainian-Tatar politician, since 1991 is a permanent member of the Majilis of the Crimean Tatar people, the chairman of Bakhchysarai district state administration in 2005-2014 and Volodymyr Zhemchugov, the Hero of Ukraine, the Ukrainian partisan

Based on the results of the contest "Talents of KPI 2018", the best works in the category "Painting" among students were named works of Anastasia Ezhela (VPI, gr. SG-82).

On the 19-th of November 2018 there was a meeting of the students of the Department of Publishing Studies and the Head of the publishing house “Time of masters” Oleg Symonenko.

On the 6-th of November 2018 in Solomianska District Administration celebrations of the International Students’ Day took place.

October, 18, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was visited by the delegation of ShenZhen Technical University, headed by its pro-rector, Sun Xianyu.

The Forum of Publishers in Lviv is one of the largest cultural events in Ukraine. Hundreds of books are presented here annually and dozens of creative meetings take place. This year's 25th anniversary forum took place in September, the theme of which is Freedom.

       We live in the world of communication, as up to 70% of entire time people spend on communication: writing, reading, speaking, listening. Only communication provides the transmission of information and ideas.

The Institute of Printing and Publishing of Kyiv Polytechnic is one of the most popular educational and scientific divisions of the University. It is headed by a charming woman, a true professional, Tatiana Yuriivna Kirichok.

A contest for the best academic group came to an end. This year there were a lot of participants, and strict judges fairly chose the winners.
