🇺🇦 On the Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine, we thank everyone who is defending our country with weapons in hand. Among them are graduates, academic staff, researchers, employees, and students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute — our colleagues, friends, and fellow students.
❤️ Alongside us are veterans who, after their service, continue their studies, teach, conduct research, and launch new projects. Their experience deserves attention, and their needs deserve meaningful support.
On this day, university administration representatives, academic staff, and students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute honored the memory of fallen defenders with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the Memorial to the Polytechnic Heroes near the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
🔹 Today, science and engineering are among the pillars of Ukraine's resilience. What seemed only a distant prospect yesterday is needed today. At Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, researchers are developing space technologies, conducting fundamental and applied research, and educating a new generation of specialists, helping Ukraine withstand the war and rebuild.
🫡 We thank the defenders of Ukraine for their service, courage, and selflessness. We understand the price of every day — and our responsibility for how we choose to fill it.
