Amazon Web Services (AWS) provided KPI with its second grant since the start of the full-scale war. In 2022, the university received its first emergency grant, which allowed it to quickly migrate its infrastructure to a cloud environment. This year, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Atomic and Thermal Power Engineering (IATE Institute), established on the basis of the Faculty of Thermal Power Engineering at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI), celebrates its 95th anniversary.
Igor Sikorsky KPI became the venue and an active participant in the “Safety Distance” event, which focused on the use of remote systems for detecting explosive objects in mine action. Such technologies minimize risks to people and speed up the survey of territories.
The main task was to ensure the university’s uninterrupted financial operations—primarily the timely payment of salaries and scholarships, as well as utility bills.
