June 15, The Technical Museum in the open air NTUU "KPI" was added with a new exhibit. The helicopter Mi-2, a gift of the Ministry of Defense, was installed at the site near the former hangar, and now the branch of aviation and astronautics SPM.
The Chapel is a singing family: “the choir history of KPI, memories and art of chapelists”. The book “The Chapel” was firstly printed in May, 2009.
Honoring. University "KPI" with gratitude and respect remembers his famous graduate – Igor Sikorski. In his honor, a memorial plaque was installed on the territory of the KPI.
On April 22, 2009 at NTUU”KPI” took place the first handing of Masters diplomas of Otto-fon-Gerike University (Magdeburg, Germany) to NTUU “KPI” students.
On April 2009 the delegation of Dalian University, China, headed by its rector Mr. OU Jinping, visited our university.
KUWAIT: A visiting delegation representing Kyiv University yesterday affirmed importance of exchanging students between the Ukrainian university and Kuwait University. The visitors also affirmed significance of the development of relations in the field of education between the two countries.
On December 12, 2008 the First secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary Mr. L.Zcolt visited NTUU”KPI” with the aim to acquaint with the university and to discuss questions of cooperation between NTUU”KPI” and universities of the Republic of Hungary.
Museology in KPI has a long history. Except of Zoological museum of agricultural department, Engineer museum opened on February 1. It was supervised by engineering group. The museum commission of Engineer museum of KPI was established in 1905 and it was headed by Eugene Oskarovych Paton.
