According to the QS World University Rankings 2027 — one of the most authoritative international university rankings — Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute was placed in the 851–900 range worldwide and entered the TOP-2 higher education institutions of Ukraine.
On May 20, Football Field No. 1 at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the Open Football Tournament organized by the Institute of Special Communications and Information Protection in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.
Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute has become the first higher education institution in Ukraine to officially join the National Bank of Ukraine BankID System as a non-commercial service provider. The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine approved the inclusion of a number of scientific periodicals in the List of Professional Scientific Publications of Ukraine with the assignment of Category “B” status for a three-year period, from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2029. Among the publications that received confirmation of their professional status are 19 scientific journals of Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute.
The Department of Biosafety and Human Health of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is actively expanding international cooperation in the fields of rehabilitation, occupational therapy, and advanced biomedical engineering technologies. Such partnerships have become particularly important in the context of developing Ukraine's rehabilitation system and introducing modern international practices, especially in the field of occupational therapy.
