The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) delegation of Germany met with representatives of "KPI" on 3 September. DAAD representatives were a director of the German Academic Exchange Gisela Zimmermann and her assistant Oksana Shvaika.

June 11th the university visited the newly elected president of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine, Mikhail Brodsky. At a meeting with the rector Michael Zgurovsky they discussed problems and prospects of student basketball.
NTUU "KPI" was visited by the heads of the leading French technical universities – the General Director of the Ecole Polytechnic (École Polytechnique – polytechnic school, Paris), Yve Dome, Director of the National high school of high technologies (École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées – ENSTA ParisTech, Paris) Elisabeth Crépon and the President of the University of the city of Le Mans Rashid El Gerguma.
On the 15th of June NTUU "KPI" was visited by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Korea Republic in Ukraine Sol Kohn-Hun and a military attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea Choi Seok-Hyonh.
The wife of the Prime Minister of Japan Akie Abe, the wife of the president of Ukraine Maryna Poroshenko and the wife of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan in Ukraine Tomoko Sumi have visited Ukrainian-Japan Center of NTUU “KPI” in June, 6.
The Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Ukraine Herman Dominguez visited NTUU "KPI" on May 27th.
