Science without borders: participation of FMF students in academic mobility programs

The development strategy of Igor Sikorsky KPI provides for increasing the level of academic mobility of students and teachers through international exchange programs, summer schools, internships, etc. This is one of the university's priority areas of activity aimed at deepening the internationalization and integration of participants in the educational process into the international educational and scientific space, improving the quality of education and the effectiveness of scientific research, as well as ensuring competitiveness in the educational services market.

Thousands of strong ties connect Ukraine and Ukrainians with Israel and its citizens. Some of us have old friends living there, others have relatives, some have collaborated with scientists or businesspeople from that country, and some have traveled there for vacation or medical treatment. Therefore, meetings with representatives of Israel are always warm and interesting for their participants. The meeting with Michael Brodsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine, which took place on June 5, was no exception.

International cooperation between Ukraine and Poland over the decades: personal experience

On June 18, the university held an award ceremony for the Golden Honorary Badges of the National Technical Organization – the Federation of Scientific and Technical Societies of Poland. This year, they were awarded to Professor Lyudmila Mykhailivna Shulgina of the Department of Industrial Marketing, FMM; Professor Serhii Vasylovych Voitko, Head of the Department of International Economics, FMM; Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management Professor Oksana Oleksiivna Vovk, and former Director of the G.I. Denisenko Scientific and Technical Library Oksana Mykolaivna Bruy. In a solemn atmosphere, the awards were presented to Kyiv Polytechnic Institute students by Dorota Jaworska, Deputy Head of the KPI Alumni Section in Poland. Bulletin for experts

Last December, the first issue of an English-language newsletter dedicated to the life of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was published. It was called Quarterly Newsletter. However, so many events take place at the university every week that even if only the most important ones were included in the newsletter, it would be huge.

Volunteer at the Department of Sociology of the FSP Dr. Nathan Greenfield: "My advice is simple: keep learning!"

Dr. Nathan Greenfield, a scholar and researcher in the field of literary theory and military conflict, author of many books, lives and works in Canada. For the second year in a row, he has been a volunteer at the FSP Sociology Department and regularly lectures to students, mainly undergraduate and graduate students. Pavlo Fedorchenko-Kutuev, Professor of the Department of Sociology at the FSP, spoke with him about his academic interests, his “discovery” of Ukraine, and his experience of communicating with Ukrainian colleagues and students.
