International Conference "Applied Geometry, Engineering Graphics, and Intellectual Property Objects"

On May 14, 2026, the 15th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Applied Geometry, Engineering Graphics, and Intellectual Property Objects" was held online. The conference is a specialized academic event for the Department of Descriptive Geometry, Engineering and Computer Graphics of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. Therefore, the foundation of this scientific forum was the Kyiv Polytechnic School of Applied Geometry.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine's Named Scholarships for Young Doctors of Science provide financial support to early-career researchers and create opportunities and incentives for conducting scientific research in Ukraine within the country's priority areas of science and technology development. In 2025, among the 47 young researchers awarded these prestigious monthly scholarships by the state were two young scientists from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

Overcoming Barriers to High-Quality District Heating

During the conference "The Future of District Heating: International Experience, Innovative Technologies, and Digital Solutions," held in May at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, a joint event organized by the university and the ReWarm project of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) focused on discussing key issues related to the modernization of district heating systems. Particular attention was given to the application of heat pump technologies, including those based on geothermal energy sources, as well as the implementation of digital solutions for the intelligent management of district heating networks.
