The students of Institute of Aerospace Technologies have met with Gaydemary Stefanishyn Piper, who is the austronaut of NASA. She visited Ukraine as part of celebration World Space Week with the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine.

This year, the students of the Aerospace Technology Institute, established in April, also took part in the traditional Freshman Day. “The Kyiv Polytechnician” asked his director, Ivan Vasyliovych Korobko, about the new unit, the tasks facing this educational and scientific unit, as well as about its students and partners.

On September 18, the wide range of issues discussed by the participants of the meeting with the famous businessman, owner and manager of the aerospace company "Firefly Aerospace" (USA) Maxim Polyakov and his legal assistant Igor Spodin during their visit to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institut

On May 27, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was visited by the delegation of “Airbus Helicopters” company (French Republic).

In 17th of April the final of the Competition of engineering startups Vernadsky challenge was lead, it is dedicated to conference about aerospace industry “Noosphere Space Summit”. It was selected ten projects out of eighty.

Firstly, the analysis of financial and economic activities at the university for 2018 and the approval of the budget for 2019 was heard.
