A lot of students, teachers, scientists and employees of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute defend our country at the frontline. Some of them took up weapons for the first time, some have been familiar with military routine since 2014.
Volunteer Dana Yarova told the story of Volodymyr Bazyka, a graduate of the Faculty of Welding of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, in her project #HeroesofUkraine.
The war for junior sergeant Volodymyr Bazyka began back in 2014. So, on February 24, he went to the regional military commissariat without a moment's hesitation and was called up for active service in the 30th Mechanized Brigade.
