🤝 Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) will work on the RE:LinkHUB social project—an initiative for the professional reintegration of veterans and people with disabilities. The project will combine engineering solutions, VR technologies, professional training in the transportation sector, and employment support.

KPI has signed a seven-party cooperation agreement with Ukrainian and Polish partners who will work on the educational, scientific, engineering, technological, and business components of the project.

The partnership includes:
• Yaroslav Dombrovsky Military Technical Academy
• BEST TRUCK DRIVER
• BEST DRIVER KYIV
• REDI DRIVERS
• Sikorsky Challenge Additive Technologies Science Park
• Sikorsky Challenge Innovation Holding

As part of the RE:LinkHUB initiative, veterans will be able to undergo professional training in the transportation sector, work with innovative VR solutions, and receive support for future employment.

🔺 KPI will be responsible for the scientific and engineering aspects of the project, specifically for:

• research into adaptive control technologies;
• development of technical standards for vehicle retrofitting;
• creation of a training methodology based on the principles of engineering ergonomics.

Sikorsky Challenge Additive Technologies Science Park:

• will bring state-of-the-art equipment and technologies to the project;
• will conduct research and development in the field of additive technologies;
• will provide scientific and methodological expertise.

Sikorsky Challenge Innovation Holding:

• will provide expert support;
• will promote the development of startups that will strengthen the technological component of the project.

📃 Today, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute holds a leading position in the training and retraining of veterans, particularly people with disabilities, and is actively developing scientific and innovative activities. Thus, the “RE:LinkHUB” project will be another step toward creating a modern system for the professional reintegration of veterans, where innovation, engineering, and education work to support people and their return to active civilian life.
