On the 62nd day of heroic resistance to the bloody aggressor, let us remember the accident that shocked the whole world.

Dear Kyiv Polytechnicians! This year's Easter Sunday caught our country in the time of bitter trial - on the 60th day of a full-scale war.

At the end of June last year, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute signed a memorandum of cooperation with the newly established in Mariupol Metinvest Polytechnic which was the first in Ukraine private steel and mining university.

Since the beginning of the great war, legends have been made about the exploits of our volunteers: they get rare equipment and medicines "out of nowhere", go to the most remote corners of the country under fire to provide necessities, collect incredible sums of money in a matter of hours.

Despite the war, life continues, including at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. On April 4 the educational process at the university was resumed in a more flexible mode, adapted to the opportunities of each student.

Probably no one would like the shrill sounds of an air alert. But this sad howl has already saved thousands of lives of Ukrainian citizens. At the same time, the siren is just one of the elements in the country's alerting service.

The National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” donated 1 million hryvnias for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The funds were transferred to a special account with the National Bank of Ukraine.

This issue of our newspaper was supposed to be completely different. Its layout was already made and sent to the printing house in Kharkiv. The newspaper talked about the Doors Open Day at the university; about projects carried out at faculties, cooperation with partners, etc. And, of course, about the female part of the university staff, as one way or the other, the beginning of spring for many of us is traditionally associated with honoring women.
