Four high school students, selected through Ukraine's national team selection process and trained intensively by the dcua team at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, proudly represented Ukraine at the International Cybersecurity Olympiad and AI Challenge (ICOA 2026).
The Ukrainian team consisted of:

👥 Led by team leaders Andrii Voitsekhovskyi, a PhD student at the Educational and Research Institute of Physics and Technology (ER IPT), and Maksym Hinkul, a third-year ER IPT student, the team demonstrated an outstanding level of preparation and earned multiple awards.
🔥 Results of the Ukrainian team:
🥇 Roman Mielamud — Gold Medal in the Overall Ranking and Silver Medal in the CTF4EAI Pioneer Round.
🥉 Oleksandr Petrenko — Bronze Medal in the Overall Ranking and a high placement in the main stage of the CTF4EAI Pioneer Round.
🥉 Mykyta Sukovach — Bronze Medal in the Overall Ranking.
Ukraine placed 3rd in the overall team medal standings.
This achievement once again highlights the excellence of Ukraine's cybersecurity education and the effectiveness of training young professionals at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
