To the 80th anniversary of the birth of Valeriy Lobanovskyi

This year on April 28, 150 years passed since the birth of the prominent Ukrainian scientist, professor at the University of Warsaw, dean of the mechanical faculty of the Warsaw Polytechnic Institute, Corresponding Member of the St.

On December 5, 2017, a memorial plate dedicated to the outstanding mathematician, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Boris Hnedenko (1912-1995), was opened on the building on 10 Prorizna Str., where he lived with his wife and two sons in 1950s (at that time he was the director of the Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR).

24, October 2017 was the 150th anniversary of Biliashivskyi’s birth. Mykola Biliashovskyi (1867-1926) was an academician at National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, an archaeologist, an art expert, an ethnographer, a museum expert and the forst librarian of the KPI.

During his financial epic Burattino finally linked his life with the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. In 1658 he received indiginate, and in 1660 he married the hereditary nobleman, the daughter of the Dartovsky governor Zygmunt Opatsky Teresa Bronislav, who was younger than him in twenty three years

The output did not seem to have happened. And yet, he found the quick mind with Burattino. The reform he has proposed made his name widely known in The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Even more - he wrote in the history of the monetary circulation of several countries, whose territory then belonged to the territories of this state, and their neighbors.

This year marks the 400th anniversary of the birth of Tito Livio Buratino. Historians have not yet come to an unanimous opinion on who he was - an outstanding scientist and inventor or a clever adventurer.

In January 8, 2017 were 375 years since the death of the genius Italian scientist Galileo Galilei (15.02. 1564 - 08/01/1642), one of the founders of classical physics and natural science research in general.

There is the first holiday that comes right after New Year and remains unnoticed in the dazzling splashes of January's fun. Probably because it is not accompanied with some traditional actions such as caroling, divination or bathing in the ice-holes.

2016 marks 2400 years since the birth of Aristotle, the brilliant Greek philosopher and scientist, whose contribution to the development of human civilization cannot be overstated.
